CHILDREN UNDER 9 YEARS FREE
Music has no age limit, and neither does Tons of Rock. We welcome rockers of all ages to the festival!
We take children's safety seriously and therefore have some guidelines for children at festivals.
Children under the age of 9 have free entry to the festival area when accompanied by an adult who has a ticket.
Children under the age of 9 must be registered in our system in advance of the festival to gain access to the area. The application form can be found here:
https://form.arkon.no/?id=10097&key=367kzy
Note! There is a limited number of places and first come, first served. The form closes for registration on June 1st.
On arrival, you must go to the accreditation booth to collect a band for the child. Children will receive a festival band which signals that the child is a minor. Small children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
We really appreciate and want to motivate the next generation of rockers, but Tons of Rock is essentially a party for adults. We believe that the child's guardian knows what the child can tolerate and needs, but we still ask you to use common sense when it comes to alcohol and intoxication around the children, and we also recommend that the children should be placed with a babysitter before the evening comes.
Visibly intoxicated adults with responsibility for children under the age of 18 will, together with the minor, be escorted from the scene, and a report will be made to the police.
All children must be protected from loud noise, remember hearing protection for young and old, and move away from loudspeakers if the sound becomes too loud.
We encourage you to arrange a meeting point on the festival grounds that the child can easily find if you get separated. Our information booth can be used for this purpose. It may be a good idea for both parents and children to find this before you go off to enjoy concerts.
Be aware of their surroundings at all times. Shield children from large and dense crowds, mosh pits and highly intoxicated people. If you experience something unpleasant, we want you to report it to security guards or other staff in the area.
We recommend that everyone under the age of 18 is accompanied by a friend or guardian throughout the festival.
NOTE: Remember that Tons of Rock is a festival, and not a park area. It is not permitted to bring prams, brought food (apart from children's food) or drinks into the area. Therefore, plan well so that both you and your child have a great experience at the festival.
As a small to-do list, we ask you to think about the following:
Bring hearing protection for the child.
Remember sunscreen, both in your bag and on your skin.
It may be a good idea to bring an extra change of clothes for the child.
Make sure the child gets enough fluids during the day.
CAMPING @ TOR
In recent years, we have worked hard to find an alternative for an additional festival camping for Tons of Rock. Now we finally have the solution ready, in 2024 there will be two festival campsites!
Both Festivalcamp Ekeberg and Festivalcamp Bjerke will be fenced off for security reasons and everyone who wants access to the camp must buy a personal ticket in advance via Ticketmaster. There will be access control to both camps throughout the festival period.
