THE GANG'S ALL HERE TOUR

I am going to format this review, a little differently, living a little on the "wild side" and starting this review off with SKID ROW, who entertained and proved the Gang is all Here. This was my first experience seeing them play live, and I say, don't miss them if they hit your town, you won't be disappointed, and you will have a memory to last a lifetime. The singer Eric, didn't need to prove himself to anyone, he belted out those songs with perfection and sounded amazing. It is really hard to say just how great they all were on stage. You could tell they were the 'Big Guns' and gave 100% to give their fans a high energy night to remember. We all know Rachel Bolan, co founder and bassist for the band, I was in awe, just speechless and how he mastered that  bass, a stunning signature Spector to boot ! Definitely added to the rhythm all around. The guitarists put out those riffs like it was something they have been doing since they were born, sounded fantastic. Rob on drums, well he just added those drum blasts in to every song, keeping the beat going. Let's just say they did one hell of a job. They ended with a song that I am sure everyone in that sold out crowd was singing,  "Youth Gone Wild".  I  am  lucky to have seen them live, and it won't be the last. This was the place to be on this snowy Sunday night.

BUCKCHERRY, well the last time I saw this band was back in November 2015, so it has been awhile. But I am sure most of you know these guys, after all they have been around since 1995, almost 30 years! They have made a name for themselves over the years. You want Rock, well that is what you will get. Great on stage presence, and they had the crowds motivated. They knew what they had to do up there, and they did a good job of it. Their songs are themes of partying, sex, and drugs interwoven into every riff and lyric.  They had the crowds attention, and everyone was having a great time.

Openers tonight was a band called SIERRA PILOT, which I hadn't heard of, but a chance to discover someone new, especially a new band to the scene. From Waterloo, ON, these guys have just released their debut album, "Phantom Pains", with a new single called "Turpentine that came out the other day! These guys are pretty fresh to the scene, and the theme of the band is "ode to life" or "live life to the fullest", with upbeat riffs and clean sound, bringing out the positive vibes in all of us tonight, no matter what mood you started with. A suiting opener for the tour, and wish them the best on this tour.
